I'm a senior from southern California desperately seeking an escape from high school. Here are my choices:

Brown
Columbia
Tufts
UCLA
Occidental
Pomona
Pitzer
Stanford
UC Berkeley
Lewis and Clark

So far, I've taken four AP tests: US History (3), European History (3), Biology (4), and English Language (4). This year, I'm taking five AP classes: English Lit, Chemistry, Calculus AB, Computer Science, and Psychology.

My GPA is 3.74UW/4.27W. I'm ranked 131 in a class of 949. I'd really love to take a second (maybe a third and fourth) stab at sophomore year--it really doesn't do me any justice.

And the standardized stuff:

670M/690V = 1360 SAT (first time)
780M/670V = 1450 SAT (second time)
highest subscores = 1470 SAT

33 Composite ACT (first time)
---34 English
---32 Math
---35 Reading*
---29 Science

32 Composite ACT (second time)
---36 English*
---35 Math*
---27 Reading
---30 Science*

34 Composite* (highest subscores)

(How did I manage to drop eight points in the reading section? I had so much fun reading and marking the passages that I ran out of time.)

780 Writing SATII
710 Math IIc SATII
700 Molecular Biology SATII
670 Literature SATII
540 World History SATII (So I underestimated it.)

I'm a member of the Academic Decathlon team, the president of multiple special-interest/academically-focused clubs, and I'm a volunteer/docent at the local Aquarium five or six hours a week. I realize my extracurriculars are sorely lacking.

I'll be submitting a killer essay and I have outstanding teacher recommendations. I'm a National Merit Commended Student (as if that counts for anything!). Part of my senior year curriculum is a genetic research project/internship at a major medical center under the supervision of a doctor-mentor for UC credit (and research experience).

It's your job to predict where I'll be accepted, where I'll be rejected, and why.
