<li>Doing girls State this summer 2010 @ MSU. It's a week-long even for girls interested in government; i'm not exactly sure but i think it'll look good. </li>

<p>really? I’m kind of scared I won’t… I think my GPA is a little low. I’m also thinking about retaking the ACT because if I do better it might make up for my grades.</p>

<p>I got in with a GPA that was only a fraction of a point higher than yours and less ECs/lower ACT. You also have legacy. Trust me, you’re in ^_~</p>

<p>You should be fine. Your GPA is a bit lower than average but your ACT makes up for it. </p>

<p>Yeah, you’re in. You have advanced geology at your school?! Wildlife bio? Those sound so much more interesting than my opportunities. Where do you live?</p>

<p>Yeah, we have those classes. I go to a pretty big public school on Lake Michigan. We have a lot to choose from.</p>

<p>apply early and you have a very good chance of getting in, especially with your good ACT score and challenging course load. JMC admissions is done on a first come, first serve basis - if you get into MSU, you will get into JMC. Also, I’m a current JMC junior so if you have any questions feel free to ask or pm me!</p>
