My chances of getting in? (Sorry ahead of time...)

Schools:
-Reach:
+Brown
-Good/decent chance (that's what i want to get confirmed..)
+Uc Davis
+Uc Irvine
Safety: (would like these confirmed too..)
+UC Santa Cruz
+Cal poly san luis obispo

Sat's:
+1860 (m660, cr600,w580) yeahh....=/

GPA:
This year hopefully like 3.66 unweighted. Weighted= 4.1
But overall, probably around less than 4.0 weighted but greater than 3.5

Extra Curriculars:
- Bay area writing project: 2 years
- Teen leadership Academy: 1 year
- Senior Class senator
- American action (kind of a school council deal)

Admissions essay's should be good. Along with letters of recommendation.

Also, i have a question for Brown do i NEED to have a letter of recommendation from my school councilor? I noticed that alot of you guys here have them, but is a requirement? I can easily get letters of recommendation...about 5 of em. But i wanted to know if a councilor recommendation is required.

thanks ahead of time guys. Oh...and i know Brown is ridiculous, but could i get like a % or probability of getting in?

thanks again.

Less than 5%? Idk...

Brown is a reach with those SAT scores, but you got your matches and safeties right. You might want to add UCSD.

i was going to add UCSD but i thought it was a little too far out there....do u guys think it is possible for me to get in? =D

Well, it'll be much easier than brown.

Not a chance at Brown.

btw, none of u answered my question yet, so i'll repost it:

i am going to do ED at brown and maybe it'll give me a better shot, but who knows. And also if it means anything at all, I'm a chinese-american male...sooo.. shrug

Yes comic, you need a counselor rec. Ed won't help if you're not in range. Being Asian makes it even harder. There are a lot of good schools you can get into, but Brown most probably isn't one of them.

I see no chance whatsoever at Brown. You have an average chance at Davis.

Comic Cajun:

UCI/UCD: Match
UCSC: Safe Match

quick question again...(sorry i am a really curious junior so yeah xD)

when you guys say "match" we're tlaking 50/50 right? or higher? and safe match is more like 70/30?

and also, my dad wants me to apply to cornell is that wise as in a better shot than brown?

thanks alot guys...you guys are helping out quite a bit...even bobby100 =P

Well, could he (Comic get into Cornell)?

What about NYU Stern, could he get into there? What about Cornell?

bumpbumpbump

bump?
i just would like my last few questions answered and then i'm done guys =D
