My chances of getting in?

Hi, I just want feedback on what you think my chances of getting into Bucknell are. I have an 87 qpa, I take 3 AP Classes (Ap European History, AP English, AP Government), I have a 1770 on my SATS (I know that’s crappy but I’m an awful test taker), I go to a county magnet high school. It’s top ranked and the academic rigor is difficult. We focus on math and science and I’m an english and history person. I’m on newspaper, yearbook, and I did marching band. I also have 160 hours or so of volunteering at an elderly hospital and 24 hours from relay for life. We also don’t rank and I went to this high school because my town’s high school is not very good. We specialize in IT so I have certifications in microsoft office, oracle, and comptia A+. And also through a deal with the local community college, I have 9 college credits as well. I know these aren’t ideal credentials for Bucknell, but I am applying early decision round II. So yeah just let me know if I have any chance at all.

Going to have a hard time with the low sat score

I know. I’m just a terrible test taker.

I think you have a good chance, if not great, of getting in if you show passion
in your app. and motivation of wanting to go to Bucknell and
what you have to offer (cultural, talents, abilities, & etc.).

Do your best this semester and send in those grades whenever
you can.

Your ECs are good. Marching band can take a toll…

Your SATs are under par, but what the heck, my SATs were 1620 total haha.
Bucknell looks at CR + M mainly. Although, my hook was being a URM.

My high school isn’t top ranked at all, but if you try your best at any high school,
surely you get into places.

Go for it! You have way higher stats than I do.
Your credentials are what make you unique, and Bucknell wants that!
Hope to see you in the Class of 2015! :)
