But anyways, you seem like you have a good chance of getting in, good luck :)

i do plan on going to the east coast for interviews… but i know competition is so tough and there are a bunch of other people out there like me… i seriously regret not doing more activities. -___-"

also, does it help that i’ve also been accepted to a few other foreign schools in korea and such? and i heard the interviews are the most important part; is it true?

I think that any part of the application can be the deciding factor on whether you are accepted, waitlisted, or rejected. The interview is an important part, so it would be better to go to the school instead of having an interview with alumni (they aren’t always the best interviewers from what I hear). The good thing about the interview is that you get to show more of your personality face to face and show your enthusiasm for the school. You will also get a chance to ask questions and (of course) get to know your interviewer better.
About getting accepted to the foreign schools, that probably won’t help you. I wouldn’t mention it in you application or interview, but you will have to talk to someone else in that situation. Good luck!

In my opinion, the interview is the most important part because its your chance to shine and set yourself apart from the typical applicant. My Cate interview was over an hour and a half long and we only ended because the place where the interview was being held was closing. He told me straight up that I’m the perfect applicant for his school and he wants me there. I knew I’d get in and I did They certainly made up for my horrible SSAT’s scores (62%ile xD I’m a horrible test take in addition to being sick that day)

woah… sorry for all the questions, but does anyone have any school recommendations? i looked into the “hidden gem” schools and im interested, but i was wondering if there were any more options… preferably with a high acceptance rate… haha

St. Marks?

Hm, im looking into a lot of other schools with higher acceptance rates (30-40) do you think i have a chance then? haha
