My Chances of Getting In

<p>Hey everybody. Sorry about this post, I know there are a lot, but I am really stressing out about the service academies right now. I was wondering if someone could judge my chances of getting into West Point. It would be very much appreciated.</p>

<p>Academics
Gpa: 3.89 not weighted, 4.28 weighted
SAT Scores: 640 CR, 670 M (I'm going to retake it)
ACT: I just took it, I think I did pretty well. Probably around a 30.
AP and Honors courses throughout high school</p>

<p>Athletics
Varsity Tennis (3 years/1 as captain)
Varsity Rugby (1 year)
Junior Varsity Football</p>

<p>Leadership
Assistant Senior Patrol Leader
President of Faith in Action Service Group
Project Leader of Sierra Service Project
Captain of Tennis Team</p>

<p>Other Extracurricular
National Honors Society
California Scholastic Federation
Life Scout, going to be Eagle this December
Presidential Service Award (Bronze)
Various Clubs
Various Engineering courses at school
Intern for Lund Concepts for 2 years
I've gotten a couple academic and athletic awards through the school.</p>

<p>I maxed out the push ups, sit ups, and pull ups on the cfa and got above average on all the others.</p>

<p>I went to the Summer Leaders Seminar and really like it. I have already finished my application and turned it in at the end of august. All help is very much appreciated. Thank You!</p>

You have a really strong app, and you have the well rounded nature that the admissions board is really looking for. Have you also applied for a ROTC scholarship? At SLS, the admissions officer for my region strongly recommended it saying it was a important part of the application because it showed there interest in the army. Other than that, you have a good chance get in. Make sure you apply for all available nomination sources. GO ARMY!</p>

Yea I applied for ROTC just recently. Is there a place to put that you are also applying for the scholarship on the West Point app? And believe me I am applying to every possible source of nomination. The only thing that concerns me is that I am in a very competitive district. We’ll see how it goes. Anyways thank you for your response, its much appreciated.</p>
