Hmm, you may have somewhat of a challenge since your grades are a little low... You have one semester left that will count, try and finish strong! Take some APs your senior year to look busy. And if you do very well on your SATs, then you could have a very solid chance. Take them multiple times and keep on studying.

You are still a junior so it is a little difficult to chance. Think of that as a good thing. You still have time to work stuff out.

your chances are way good. pomona isnt popular at all. i heard back within a week of applying and got in.. i had an overall 3.24 and a 1660 on the sats. i seriously wouldnt worry at all.

thanks for replying. Pomona will be my #1 backup school and i wanted to make sure i have a really good chance at making it to a backup school just in case.

Pomona weights their admissions to favor their local service area. If you live in the LA area you have a much better chance. Except for Architecture which is competitive. Do take the SAT/ACT multiple times. It worked for me.

i got into pomona with a 3.25 weighted and 1930 SAT
i heard back from them within a week that i applied.
so yeah, i really wouldn't worry at all~
