i’m going to be applying to cornell this fall (as ED!)
my extracurriculars and test scores are good,
i also have several awards from competitions i entered.
but my gpa is low. it will probably raise to ROUGHLY about 3.8 by the end of my junior year.

i was wondering…

how much can essays/recs/activities/test scores compensate for my kind of gpa?

I heard CAS was state endowed so its easier for NY kids to get in. but since i’m NOT in NY, would i be better off applying to another college?
are there any other colleges in cornell like this?

can you apply as an undecided major? does this give you an adv or disadv. ?

and please… don’t be sarcastic. i’ve seen so many sarcastic comments on these “chance me” threads. but i’m serious about how much chance i actually have of being accepted. thanks guys.!
