I'm a white Jewish female from the Philadelphia area. I attend a public high school, have taken 5 AP classes, and have taken mostly honors/AP all of high school except for some maths and sciences. Because i'm not very good at math and had some bad teachers, my GPA is a 3.2 unweighted(but i hear most colleges re-weigh them? so it should go up). In top 25% of my class. My highest scores on the SAT were 660 math, 700 reading, 740 writing. I don't do a ton of extracurriculars but I'm involved/have been involved in a few things. This is my list of schools I'm looking at, please let me know if you know any specifics about their admissions and how good of a chance you think I have of getting in.

sat scores look pretty safe for clark. theres a lot of jews here too and yeah i’m pretty sure clark re-weighs your gpa so not so sure about that. but score/academic wise you seem pretty fine

good luck :)

I would think you are an easy match for Clark. Are you applying ED or RD? Your profile is somewhat similar to my D’s, but you have taken more APs and Honors classes and have better overall SATs (she only sat for them once), and she probably has more robust ECs than yours. She is attending a very good private school with a challenging curriculum–my guess is that her “regular” classes are very similar to many public school honors or AP classes.

My D is applying ED, so we are expecting to hear from Clark some time in the next few weeks.

I’m a Clark Alum, so it’s nice to see great students like you having strong interest in applying.

Good Luck!
