My Chances of Getting Into Lafayette College

Hello,

I am just wondering if I have a chance of getting into Lafayette College.
My SAT is not good. English is my second language so I suffered at my Writing Section (460), Critical Reading (400), and my stronger part which is Math (690) total of a 1550.
My friend told me that Lafayette College is a prestige school, but they don’t look at SAT as important as other top university.
My GPA is a 90.21 unweighted and 94.17 weighted.
I want to major in computer science and I have really strong at programming.
I took Programming I (93) and Programming II Honor (96) in my junior year and I start liking programming.
I am taking AP Computer Science next year.
My teacher, and two of my friends, and I are starting a club next year where we will be able to make servers and learn more programming languages such as PHP, C++, and javascript.
So far I have learned Python and Java.
I made an interview appointment with Lafayette College this Friday because they said you can increase your chances of getting in if you make an interview with the college.
I am also doing early decision for LAC.

So my question is, I didn’t do well on SAT, but I am always learning and working with programming languages which is what I want to do in College, does this help me getting into a college?
Thank you

You definitely want at least an 1800 for Lafayette. At least.

If you bump up your SAT Writing and Critical Reading, you have a solid chance.
