My Chances of Getting Into Northwestern U

<p>Northwestern is my "reach" school, but I absolutely love their communications program, so I'd like to know my chances!
My SAT: 1990 (1280 math + reading)
SAT 2s: 640 Literature, 570 Chemistry, 560 French w/ Listening (I'm aware these are low, but I have no time to retake them + French was disappointing considering I'm fluent...lol)
GPA: 4.3
Current Senior Year GPA: 4.6
Rank: Top 1%
AP's: 12 in all (5 on English Comp, 3's on others)
Extra-curriculars: Editor-in-chief of school newspaper, Foreign Language Club, much more</p>

<p>So my question is: If I manage to write a superb essay, do I have a chance? I know my scores are not the average for Northwestern students, but I'm hoping a great teacher recommendation and a powerful essay will raise my chances.
