I'm a rising senior, and Penn is my dream school, but I know my chances are slim like everyone else's. I was just wondering, if anyone has experience with Penn admissions, how my stats look.

UW GPA: 4.0
W GPA: 4.74
Rank: 2 of 494
AP: World History 4, Chemistry 4, Spanish Lang 4, English Lang 5, US History 4, Psych (didn't take the test). Next year I'm going to take AP Calc AB, AP Spanish Lit, AP English Lit, AP Environmental Science, AP US Govt, and AP Bio.
ACT: 34 in one sitting; highest subscores are English 36, Reading 36, Math 33, Science 31. I'm going to take the ACT with writing in Sept.

Some awards I've gotten are the 4.0 GPA award every year, the Pre-AP Spanish III award, first place on the Spanish III scholastic test, second place on the Spanish IV scholastic test, second place in the 10th grade English Grammar scholastic test, and first place on the 11th grade English grammar scholastic test.

Unfortunately, I'm really lacking in ECs. I was in Spanish club in eighth grade (doubt that matters, though). In the summer before ninth grade I went to an Islam class. In the summer before junior year I volunteered at a hospital. In junior year I was a junior escort at graduation. During junior year, I went to afterschool Spanish "charlas" (basically just practicing Spanish skills) about once or twice a week. I also went to optional weekend Chemistry lectures on the weekends towards the end of the year. I'm going to try to volunteer some more this summer. And next year I plan on joining the Asian American Society club, Key club, and Spanish club. I also plan on becoming a tutor for my school district.

Not sure if any of this matters, but I'm a female from Oklahoma. I was born in China, and my ethnicity is Turkic.

In college, I plan on at least minoring in Spanish. I'm still undecided on my major, but I'm leaning towards linguistics.

So do I have a shot? Is there anything else I can do to increase my chances? Also, would it be a good idea for me to apply early decision?
