Major applying for : exercise science
I would say you have a 75% chance.
The exercise science program at UVM is pretty competitive. How are your math and science grades? Do you have any extra math and science classes that you have taken? Your GPA is strong as is your course selection. However, your SATs are a bit below UVM’s average SATs that fall around 1200-1400. It would be worth reaching out to one of their reps and chatting with them to figure out if that major is a good option for you.
I will be taking physics and precalc later on this year as well as honors bio
University of Vermont’s 25% & 75% SAT scores are 1180 & 1350 respectively.
Two thirds (67%) of all applicants are offered admission.
DD was deferred for EA with 1300 SAT, and 3.55 GPA in mostly honors and AP courses. Basically a B to A- student for most courses. I am still thinking admissions (regular decision now that we have been bumped in the EA process) is likely, with 67% admission rate and her numbers being in the zones, and being out of state, but I am not sure, this is our first rodeo =)
I will say to the original poster, the 4-years in 3 different sports is an impressive achievement, and the GPA seems strong. I would think that combination of extracurricular and GPA would overcome the SAT score, but just a guess.
