<p>Hello, I am a korean-american and i would like to get into WSU. The thing is that i only have a 3.05, but i am the president of ping pong club. Do you think being president of a club will boost my chances of getting into WSU?</p>

<p>Washington State U. is a great school. 3.05 is a mediocre GPA so definitely boost that.</p>
<p>Post your SAT scores and also more of your EC's. Also how many AP or IB classes do you have? Are you in-state?</p>
<p>President of a club helps but make sure you explain it. Did you found it? Are you an active member?</p>

<p>Well, I am the founder of ping pong club and i do it every friday for about 3 hours, and i am about to volunteer for community service at a nearby church. I havent taken the SAT yet but i am aiming for about a 1700. I am an in-state student. And i have only one IB course, which is IB biology.</p>
<p>That is good..I suggest you load up on IBs you're senior year (if you are a junior). Boost that GPA that's the only thing that's dragging you down..Get a few more EC's..and also write great essays.</p>
<p>A 1700 is well above normal for WSU.</p>
