My chances of going to cal poly pomona

<p>I am a junior this year and I plan to do admissions as soon as they are open.</p>

<p>My gpa from 10-11 is 3.95 (CSU GPA)if I keep my 4.0 this semester.
I forgot about my grades during freshmen year but I will look that up with my counselor.
I know I got a D in english freshmen year, but I made it up during the summer. Will that affect me at all? </p>

<p>Right now as a junior I have 2 APs, AP US History and AP calculus AB </p>

<p>my SAT is kind of bad.
Math 680
English 590 </p>

<p>I plan to take the SAT again in 2 weeks. </p>

<p>I am local, if that affects my chances.</p>

<p>oh, I either want to go to an engineering major or some science major.</p>

<p>UC’s and CSU’s don’t put much emphasis on your freshmen and senior year compared to your soph/jr so I believe that D in your freshmen year that’s been made up should be fine. If you’re a local student you get higher priority. My friend is non local and has 4.0 gpa and was accepted as computer science.</p>
