My Chances on ED?

Im applying to Cornell early decision and have got the papers in, but i want to know what my chances are as I am concerned I wasted my ED

I have a 3.7 at a competetive public high school and am ranked 40th out of 170. I good freshmen and sophmore years with an even split between Bs and As in honors classes. In my junior I did worse year I got three Cs two Bs and one A five of which were AP classes and i got all fours and fives on my AP tests.

SAT 1400/1600
SAT II
History 750
Literature 760
Biology 660

I have excelent extracurriculars with four sports in and out of school, and I am the captain of the soccer team. I have some cocmmunity service and I work about twenty hours a week at a landscaping firm.
My recomendations and essays are fine as far as I know

I am hoping that me being a double legacy form both of my parents will give me an edge but i would really appreciate any comments as Im really not sure whether I wasted my early decision

Also I am applying to Vanderbilt, George Washington, Tulane, Rochester and Northwesterrn. Any comments are really appreciated. Thanks.

I'd say you have a pretty good shot of getting into all of the schools to which you're applying.

What are you wanting to study? This is important, as colleges/majors weigh stats in different ways.

Your GPA, rank, and transcript are a bit on the low side, but if your extracurriculars are really so great as you say, I think you have a shot. The double legacy should give you an edge, too. For ED, I think you've got a good chance.

As others have said, you have mostly good, some bad. There's nothing you can do about Cornell now, although, if you receive any significant awards in November, you should send them a written update.

What I want to urge you to do is to put Cornell in the "Done" pile and move along with your other applications. You don't have to send them, but at least half should be ready to go by mid-December. If you do get a rejection from Cornell, it could set you back several weeks while you wrestle with the emotional shock. I've seen kids freeze up and question their whole strategy to the point where they could not continue with their applications. And you don't want to spend your whole Christmas vacation doing applications, do you?

what school did you apply to?

and what is your SAT score out of 2400?
