I plan on applying to the University of Washington this fall and I was wondering for those who know more than me to please tell me how much of a chance you think I have of getting in.

Honors Student

I also volunteer in the nursery at my church, watching the little ones during Sunday morning service.

Any comments or opinions are appreciated :]]

Pretty much in for sure if you’re in-state.

Ohh btw, I don’t live in-state.

You’re right on track with your GPA, but try to raise your SAT to 2000 if you can.

Your gpa is perfect for University of Washington. I would bring that ACT up maybe up to a 28 and your SATs 1900+ and you are in!

Don’t get too sucked into worrying if your grades are good enough or not… you have a solid GPA and decent SAT scores but that wont get you in alone. The essay counts for a lot because it reflects your life and who you are individually, which counts for much more than grades and test scores.

I don’t know about ACT since I did not take it, but many people have been saying you should get 30+ in ACT to get in…and my SAT scores were roughly the same as yours (mine was 1880) and my GPA was a 3.90, and I got in! So I think you have a great chance, and you’ve great extracurriculars Now you just have to do an excellent job on your essay and you’re in.
Oh, and btw I am also out-of-state (international student actually ^^)
Good luck :)

Thanks guys for all the help :]

Think you have a good chance. I think I had lower specs than you and I’m in.
