My chances or where i should apply

hi i am kind of new with this... although next year i will be a senior really i have given far too little consideration to college applications or admissions or anything. ANYWAY. I'm trying to make a list, but don't want to get rejected everywhere and feel my heart break in two 15 times or whatever...maybe only a couple...so
i want to apply to (maybe)
-Berkeley
-UCSC or UC Davis
-Stanford
-Pomona or Scripps
-Reed
-Brown
-others (???)
I have mostly A's and like 4 B's on my transcript from freshman to junior year, i've taken 5 AP classes (got 5 on Euro and 3 on chem is all i know), i got a 2290 on the SAT I (800 writing and verbal, 690 math). prettymuch i'm weakest in math/science.

My extracurriculars are not that great, i've been in drama at my school, done several plays. i did track but quit. I will be co-pres of Interact (community service) club next yr. never had a job or really anything "leadership" before. my teacher reccommendations should be good hopefully.

Any thoughts on my chances or where to apply?? much appreciated.

it depends on your ec's now. were you a lead character in the shows? how much time did you devote to it? do you have any awards to speak of? that's key.

your testing is strong except for the thing in math and science. i would personally throw in safeties b/c of the kinda weak ec's, but that's just me.

from what i know:
-Berkeley- high reach
-UCSC or UC Davis-low reach or sorta high match
-Stanford- high reach for everyone
-Pomona or Scripps-reach. luv pomona, hope u get in
-Reed- don't know anything about reed
-Brown-high reach(it's an ivy, so duh.)

good luck! have an amazingly productive summer... for your sake.
p.s.- maybe you should check out rice- you like pretty much all the same schools i'm interested in, so maybe it would work for you. i live 45 minutes from there and the area is cool during the year. nice vibe and gorgeous neighborhoods surrounding it.

unfortunately no not really any lead roles. i hope to get one next yr though and i think i will. I really have heard nothing about rice but i'll check it out.. good luck to you to
ps i have no idea what i'm doing this summer except my summer homework and a trip my family is taking! ah/

I would have to know a little bit more about your gpa and course rigor, but from the sounds of it Yangni is a bit harsh. UCSC and UC Davis are in no way high reaches in my opinon. I would say they are more in the realm of Saftey/Match

It sounds like your main passions are drama and community service. That's awesome. Just keep doing what you're doing and emphasize those passions in your application. See if you could volunteer this summer at a drama camp or something. Keep volunteering where you've been volunteering during the school year. See if you could audition for a community theater. A college application shouldn't be forced. It should be strategically compiled to emphasize your amazing achievements.
