<p>how is a 63% a B? do you have like..an overall gpa? or sat scores? cuz that's pretty much all they use for admissions decisions. some of them are auto-admit/deny cuz they plug these numbers into a computer and see if you make the cutoff or not. that's how it is at most public universities who receive masssss applications. your ec's look great and all, but that doesn't factor in too much with uiuc decisions i've heard.</p>

<p>Based on what I know of India's percentage grading system (and that is not much but I do know that 63% is equivalent to an American B; for poster above go here to see equivalencies <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPA_in_India%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPA_in_India&lt;/a> ), you look on track for having a good chance of admission to UIUC as an international. Obviously, how you finish this year and what your SAT score ends up being are also important.</p>
