<p>Hey everyone. I just want to identify which of the schools I list below are reach/match/safety schools. I'm the first in my family to attend college here in the U.S so I really am a little lost on how this all works out... any help/advice/input is greatly appreciated!!</p>
<p>I am a hispanic female attending a public high school in South Florida. I'm in the IB program at my school. My GPA is a 3.3 (unweighted) and 5.3 (weighted). SAT 1710, but plan to retake it once more in October. </p>
<p>Classes:
-9th: AP World, Pre-IB English, Art, Algebra 2, Spanish 3, Pre-IB Biology
-10th: IB Math Studies, Spanish 4, AP Euro, AP Psych, Pre-IB Chem, AP English Composition
-11th: IB Biology, IB HL Spanish, AP English Lit, IB SL Computers, AP US History, IB Math Studies
-12th: Yearbook (co-editor), IB History, IB Lit, IB Biology, IB spanish</p>
<p>EC's:
-Member of Quill & Scroll Honor Society, Secretary and founding member
-Member of National Honor Society
-Member of Key Club, lots of volunteer hours from there
-Member of Model United Nations
-Varsity soccer since sophomore year
-Manager for junior varsity team
-Volunteer at Baptist Hospital since last year
-I tutor at my local elementary school every wednesday during the school year</p>
<p>Don't have many awards, don't have a job...</p>
<p>Will get some great rec letters from my IB coordinator and counselor
Will make sure my essays are very strong</p>
<p>Hispanic first generation college student, but do not qualify for Free/Reduced lunch or app waivers.</p>
<p>I'm looking to apply to the following schools:
1. Emerson College in Boston
2. American University in DC
3. University of Florida
4. Florida State
5. Penn State
6. University of Miami</p>
<p>what are my chances??!?!?</p>
