My chances, please?

GPA- 3.8, all honors classes, 6 APs
ACT: 32 composite, Math 36, English: 34. Science and Reading 28
EC's volunteered 8 summers at NYS environmental education agency
3 years debate club, freshman sports, other filler things like National Honor Society. Applying ED this fall. Many thanks for sharing your opinion.

You’re definitely a solid candidate, but I would try to get the science/reading scores up a little. Also, the EC’s are a little weak. Write some killer essays, and you have a good shot.

I need more info to give realistic chances:

Class rank/percentile-with those scores, unless you are attending very difficult school, it looks like you are not working to your potential. Are your most recent grades better?

Your reading score is also low for Williams.

Did you excel at Debate?

I actually think unless you have a compelling theme to your application, you are not a great candidate. Are you a passionate environmentalist? If so, push that in your essays. Get a rec that shows your passion, not just your abilities.

Also, anyone applying to Williams should have a pile of safety schools and a back-up plan.Test scores alone are not enough.

I think your stats look good from what I can see, but it isn’t much to go on! Can you give us something a little more comprehensive?
