<p>I'm going to be a senior on the fall and am planning on getting in my applications early (without using Early decision/early action). The prestigious schools I want to apply to are Carnegie Mellon, Columbia, and Duke for computer engineering... will you please tell me my chances?</p>
<p>I'm Filipino and go to a public school in northern New Jersey. </p>
<p>GRADES
My unweighted grade average so far after junior year is a 95.5.
My rank is 5/800 students.</p>
<p>CLASSES
I have taken Honors Biology, Honors Physics, Honors Chemistry, Honors Algebra II, Honors Geometry, and Honors Precalc, and ended up with 95's-97's in everything except Honors Precalc this year, which I got an 87 in. (Will this really hurt me?)
I have also taken Honors English for three years and have gotten around 95's all three years.
I took honors history my freshman year and AP history my sophomore and junior years. I ended up with around 95's in those classes.
I took Spanish for 3 years and got 97's.
For electives, I took AP Java and Orchestra, which I have gotten 97's in.
Next year, I am taking AP Calc, AP English, AP Physics, and College Accounting. </p>

I ran cross country for 3 years, and was varsity for the past two.
I ran indoor track my freshman year, and outdoor track for my freshman and sophomore years.

I have been in the pit orchestra for the school's musicals for the past three years.
I participated in Academic Decathlon for 3 years and in the Junior Engineering Technical Society for two years.
I have been Concertmaster of the school's orchestra for two years.
I am the president of the music honor society.
I participated in the New Jersey Science League for 3 years and was in the top 10% of students in the state this year.
I have been an editor of the yearbook for the past 3 years.</p>

I volunteer at my church in the music ministry and play at nursing homes.</p>
