I know I did pretty bad in my Freshman year and pretty much all of my high school carrer. Is there any chances into any UC's? If so which? What should I get on my SAT? The one I took in March I got like a 1300 I know its low and I didn't even had a paragraph in my essay. But planning to improve up to a 1500ish.

Retake all of your classes at a CC, get a 1700 on the SAT, then do two Varsity sports and finally, start a non-profit company that helps disabled children, then you can get into a UC.

Also, it appears you are the co-partner of that websites partnership, or LLC, you might want to revise that.

^messed up dude

UCs dont take D’s first of all

you don’t have a 3.0, so apply to some states

Being realistic, you dont have a good shot at getting into any UC schools. You should look into some more easier colleges and set some more safetys.

maybe UC Riverside would be a safety

lillian how would UC Riverside be a safety if UCSC has the most admit rates?

Officially, the UCs only count sophomore and junior grades (no freshman grades), which would mean that you would have about a 2.9 GPA or so, but the problem is you have not met their minimum math requirement, which is Geometry both semesters with at least a C. I suggest you either retake Geometry this summer and get Cs (which would probably put your GPA above 3.0 overall) or else go to a California community college or to a Cal State University and try to improve your overall GPA there to get the necessary grades to transfer to one of the lower UCs (Merced or Riverside).

Good luck.

P.S. The UCs will drop the Ds off your record for purposes of admittance if you retake and get at least a C in those classes. You can also take Geometry at a community college and the UCs would accept that in lieu of getting Cs in summer school or during your senior year.

Here is the problem. Im ready to do summer school for Geo. The SAT is up to Algebra II and I have to apply in the winter. Do you think I should do Algebra II instead?

Plus im going to be senior so I still have time to improve my GPA right?

Can I still do summer school at a high school?

You should do the Geometry courses in the summer. Here’s why:

To apply to the UCs you need to have a 3.0 overall–and retaking Algebra II will not help you at all in that regard since your grades will only be averaged with the ones you already took. Additionally, you have to have passed (translation: gotten two Cs) in the Geometry courses just to qualify to apply to the UCs. Thus, you have to take the UCs for purposes of applying.

Try to study for the SATs when you aren’t in the Geometry courses. Also, you should be aware that the SATs DO COVER GEOMETRY–not just Algebra II. So you’ll be tested on Geometry in the test anyway.

P.S. If your parents can afford it, have your parents hire one of the students from your school that did well in Geometry to tutor you for your Geometry class and the SAT. Usually it doesn’t cost too much and the improvement can be tremendous. I did this myself for friends (for free) back when I was in school (tutored them that is). I helped one of my friends improve his SAT score by over 140 points by tutoring him.

Best of luck.
