My Chances to be Accepted to UF?

Hello,
I am a high school senior in the state of Maryland, and I have wanted to be a Gator since I was a kid.

My Key Credentials:
GPA - 3.5 Unweighted 3.7 Weighted
SAT Scores - Taken October 6, (Very confident in score ranging from 1900-2000, I took a very extensive SAT Prep Class)
Taken Spanish 4 Years All the Way to the AP Level
Currently Taking Calc AP-AB
Have Played the Piano for 8 Years
On the Steering Committee for a Student Mentor Program at my School for Junior, Senior Year
Membership Committee Chairman for DECA/Future Business Leaders of America Organization Senior Year
JV Basketball Team Freshman, Sophomore Year (Team Captain Sophomore Year)
Varsity Basketball Team Junior, Senior Year (Team Captain Senior Year)

I have a pretty firm grasp of reality. My academics are not exactly great but not awful. I am also well aware of the low acceptance rate of out of state students to UF. Opinions on possible acceptance?

You have a decent chance especially if you get closer to that 2000 or higher SAT. And btw they don’t look at state residency when accepting applicants, or so they said at the tour.

Agree with senior9519. The thing I’d most be worried about is your GPA (see where you stand on their recalculation if the one above isn’t it) and rank (you didn’t say, but of course UF would like to see top 10%). IMO you’re a good applicant, especially if your SAT turns out to indeed be a 2000+. Of course though, as you said, their OOS acceptance rates are incredibly low, so take everything with a grain of salt.
