<p>mm, brutal truth: you don't stand out. You're a strong applicant, but that makes you a mediocre candidate to a place like stanf.</p>

<p>sorry, I sounded more negative than I meant....but understand that no one's certain to get in to Stanford. </p>
<p>Most people applying to Stanford will have your grades, APs, and probably many will have better stats than you....and the many Asians applying will play violin, piano, and do debate. You're just typical, that's all. </p>
<p>Don't get me wrong. I'm asian too and I have the same problem. I simply don't stick out. Best of luck to both of us tho : )</p>
