-Will be doing Work Study at my school this fall.

I have completed all prerequisites for Stern, and am completing classes that would transfer as MAP requirements this fall quarter. I have also completed the equivalent of 2/2.5 years of Chinese (accelerated+intensive program).

I have some pretty good reasons for transfer.
I will be recieving letters of recommendation from professors and extra-curriculars.

again, I will be transferring as a Finance Major. Stern is my first choice.

What are my chances? Thanks to all those who reply :)

i like oranges too so i say you'll be accpted.

thx hobo, any more?

I like oranges, too. You'll be accepted x2

The MAP program is that expo writing, foreign lang, natural science...that stuff?

Also I think you have a good chance. I am also applying to Stern but from community college.

yup, that's the MAP reqs -I'm not sure if they play a role in acceptance, but just in case I do get accepted I don't want to spend extra time there if possible.

Thx so far guys, any more?

3.87 from UC Davis - you should be accepted.

How many recs are you doing?

"Intramural Ultimate Frisbee"

lol.

Brand - I talked to the advisor and the person said that they guarantee that they will read 2 recs, any more and they can't guarantee that they will read them. So I am still not sure about how many to submit

John - yea I know it sounds like it's not a real sport, but it's really competitive and fun.

Yeah I was j/w because your original post said "professors and extra-curriculars" so I figured you'd have more than two. I'm only sending in two (three max, and only if I feel it'll really help), so I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something and that they wanted 3 or something.

I think you have a good shot as well. What are your "pretty good reasons" for transferring?

:)
Fact that Davis is a cowtown, personal reasons, why I didn't go to NYU in the first place, and a few more.
