My high school career was very bad, to put it lightly
I don't even remember my gpa, it was probably around 2.1.

But I am doing a lot better in my community college (triton college), and I am hoping universities will look at that.

My first semester of college I got a 4.0 with these 12 credits:
stats - A
psych - A
compsci - A
writing1 - A

Then I was able to join the colleges honors/scholars program. (Triton Scholars)
I got a 3.7 with these 16 credits:
precalc - A
Bio - A
speech - A
writing2 - B
humanities - B (only one credit)
In this second semester I was also able join and become an officer of phi thetta kappa (community college honors program)
I joined the student government was became a senator of the student government.
I became a student ambassador.
My ethnicity: hispanic

This summer I am taking calc1 and financial accounting. If I get A's in both (which seems very likely right now) I'll have a cumulative GPA of about 3.89

In the next two semesters I plan on taking 36 more credits: calc 2 and 3, differential equations, stats for econ, macro and microecon, mangerial accounting, and gen eds

I am majoring in actuarial science, but after doing a quick job search I found that a lot of the jobs in this field would also like someone with a degree in a related field. So decided to major in statistics (plus theres not too many universities with an actual actuarial science program)

I am honestly looking for to get into a university that has a good statistics program, I could care less about location, atmosphere, etc. (although it would be really cool to study in canada or in chicago ( where im from ))
Id really like to get into the university of chicago, but I think that might be unrealistic.
So Im pretty much gonna to the best university that accepts me.
Which universities do you guys think I would have a chance of getting into? Any advice?
