My Chances to UC Irvine, UC Santa Cruz, UC Santa Barbara, UC Davis or UC Riverside

Hi,

I appreciate you browsing my thread. Here are my statistics.

Unweighted GPA: 3.65 (10th and 11th year)
Weighted GPA: 3.75 (UC GPA)
SAT: Going to take it in October, hoping to get 1800 or above.
SAT Subject Tests: Taking it in November. Did good in US History, so the history portion should be easy. Literature is also another subject I picked.

Activities:
Agriculture Internship for one semester
Animal Club
Chinese Club
I also run, manage and design a website that has a fairly small following.

Would appreciate any your honest opinions regarding my chances. Thanks again!

assuming you get 1800 on sats

UC Irvine - low reach
UC Santa Cruz - match
UC Santa Barbara - low reach
UC Davis - low reach
UC Riverside - low match - high safety

Thanks! Sounds like a good estimate. If I get around 2000 on the SAT, would UC Irvine then be a match?

high match probably. your gpa is dragging you down.

Just got an unoffical transcript. My UC/CSU GPA is a bit higher than I thought.

UC/CSU GPA: 3.85
Unweighted: 3.694

Anyone else able to provide comment?

yea me! i wanna provide a comment!

i agree with redteabag except I’m more confident you’ll get into UCR. i would put extra time into your personal statements to lower the reaches for UCSB and UCD

Yeah, I wondered why your UC GPA was so close to your unweighted GPA. Considering you get 2000, or above, UCR/UCSC should be safeties. UCI I would call a match depending on your other factors, (SAT 2, etc.). UCD would be a match as you are now, assuming corresponding scores on other tests.
