I am planning attending Columbia University for undergrad in where I will major in political science. So far I am the captain of our school's mock trial team and I have a 3.89 gpa. I have s 2000 on my sat and a 29 on my act. I am ranked top 10 percentile and I am the founder of the social justice club for 3 years at my school and have unionized our school's custodians and cafeteria workers. I am also the captain of our school's Track and field team and have I refounded our schools speech club and so far i stand as the captain. I am a junior and have been volunteering my saturdays at homeless shelters for 6 years already. Much appreciated for all helpful comments.

I think you have a pretty good shot, i can see you getting rejected at a few peer schools, but i think for columbia you fit pretty well (lot's of initiative, leadership, compassionate etc etc.) Pulling up the scores would help.
