I sure hope you live in California; UC schools are brutal to get into as an out of state resident.

Yeah i live in california...

also what else shoudl i do to improve my chances...

keep up ur gpa

Davis shouldn't be a problem for you. GPA and Sat are low for Berkeley and LA. With a higher GPA you'd have a chance at UCSD. Also UCSB and UCI are in your reach.

Raising your GPA would help you the most.

What's your class rank? That is also a big thing for UCs, although it is obviously tied with GPA.

also, calculate your UC GPA. It should be above 4.0 (because its weighted) - here, the CP classes will hurt you.

your grades are on track for all UC's, and being ASB president as a sophomore is definately impressive. however, UC's only take into consideration sophomore and junior year grades, and since you haven't completed junior year yet, we're missing half the necessary info, in addition to no actual SAT score yet. for a more accurate evaluation, wait till your junior year is over and when you have your SAT scores. but for now, you're doing a good job, keep it up!

Do UC's take into consideration any of the 1st semester senior year gpa's?

"Do UC's take into consideration any of the 1st semester senior year gpa's?"

not for admissions, but if you earn less than a weighted 3.0 during your senior year, or if you earn a D or F during your senior year, then they have the right to revoke your admissions.

unless if you get accepted to Berkeley or LA, dont worry about gettin one D or F.
They simply dont care about your senior year GPA.

UCLA/UCB: Slight Reach
UCSD: Match
UCD/UCSB/UCI: Safe Match
UCSC/UCR/UCM: Safety
