Did you apply for the second round admissions?

Either way, your stats look good, I think you’re in. Also, did you take the ACT? Because if you retake one of the tests you could improve your scores and get the higher bright futures scholarship. :)

I have never taken the ACT before and I only have taken the SAT once. Although I did sign up again for the Jan SAT

You’d be admitted…BUT - you should retake the SAT after preparation.

You would be more competitive for scholarships and honors.

What preparation for the SAT do you suggest? Should I get some official SAT practice from college board or just review the test I got back from QAS?

I think you should study the official SAT study guide. I found it really helpful since it was by the actual makers of the SAT

Consider a SAT prep course. Also, take the ACT.

Yeah I definatelky agree with parent2noles. Take the ACT! alot of kids find it more easier than the SAT. But then again it all depends on you and the test you feel comfortable taking. Ultimately i think you should take the test that you think will best highlight you academic skills.

I have to agree with the others about taking the ACT. For FSU, I think my ACT score made a big difference regarding scholarship money. I took the SAT four times and was never satisfied with my score (it would have fallen somewhere in the mid 50% and would not have been that impressive). However, I took the ACT twice. The first time I was again disappointed, but then I studied A LOT for the second ACT and I scored significantly better than any of my previous scores. That final ACT score pushed me well ABOVE FSU’s 50% range, and I was accepted into the honors program with two scholarships (which I am pretty sure would not have happened before). The ACT could make a big difference. It did wonders for me and I think that $47 I spent to take it was the best investment I have ever made.
