and where can do I put my AP scores on the application?
Thank you

You can’t put your AP scores on the application. They are not used for admissions purposes, only for receiving course credit following enrollment. The fact that you took AP courses however, regardless of the college board score you received, will be reflected in a 0.5 weight for your recalculated GPA. Look into Tech’s algorithm for calculating the weighted GPA, which is available on their admissions site. I have a feeling your GPA will be much higher in that case. I hate chance threads, but yes, you stand a chance for admittance. However, don’t disregard the importance of a quality essay. Writing am insightful and grabbing essay will help you overcome your disproportionate reading and writing SAT score. Tech has had a reputation in the past for being a repository of “illiterate” students, with poor communication skills. This was partly true in the past, but this year there have been a few changes in policy that suggest to me that the institute would like to change that perception. I have a feeling this will trickle down to admissions as well.
