<p>I am looking to apply to Hampshire College and was wondering what my chance was of getting into it. My stats: African American, GPA: 4.0 weighted, SAT: 1780, lots of extracurricular activies, and good writer. My reason for applying is that I was deferred from Reed College ED to RD and am applying to back-up schools just in case I do not get in. Hampshire is unqiue just like Reed College and has what I am looking for in a college.</p>
<p>You should get in easily.</p>
<p>But show why you are a good fit and that you are a serious applicant. Remember also that Hampshire is SAT optional, and you might want to consider taking them at their word.</p>
