<p>GPA: 3.6 Unweighted at competitive Prep school in NYC
SAT: Took in October...don't think I did as well as I hoped, but estimating 1250-1300
SAT II: Math1c 590 :-\ - Retaking along w/ USH in November</p>

<p>I've always been passionate about business since the beginning of high school and have ventured on to try new things in the field to see if its something I'd enjoy (from entrepreneurship to real estate development). When my dad got involved in the Real Estate Development field, I tagged along and helped in doing research about finding land, hiring contractors, etc. and learned a lot from it.</p>

<p>My essay is going to integrate my passion for business along with what inspired me to startup the Youth Organization.</p>

<p>If it helps any, my sister goes to NYU Dental so she has somewhat affiliations.<br>
BTW - I'll be applying to the business programs at all these schools if that changes anything, I know i would for Stern. Also, if you have any suggestions for other schools that I should consider applying to, please mention :).</p>

<p>im assuming that 1250-1300 is based on old sat scale so... i think your a match at nyu, mich and bu. Nova might be a slight reach, and bc is a reach. The rest are safeties</p>

<p>Really? I thought I'd be a match for Villanova, not BC though. You think I'm a match for NYU Stern? And the 1250-1300 is M/V Composite of the new SAT since NYU says they don't care about the Writing section. I thought Stern would be a reach, but I was wondering what my chances were when taking my EC's into consideration because I know my gpa/SAT's are below avg for Stern students. Can anyone else give me their input. Thanks</p>

<p>for stern i was giving you a little added weight for applying ED im not exactly sure how much it helps though so you should probably get a 2nd opinion</p>

<p>Thanks bro - yeah I'm definitely applying ED since the lower # of people to compete with as well as the fact I'm able to show them I find them to be my #1 school. If anyone can give their opinion regarding this please do so.</p>
