I was JV Captain of the Wrestling Team my Freshman year.
I am Senator of the AP Club.</p>
<p>I am currently enrolled in 4 AP Classes (AP Calc, AP USH, AP L&C, and AP Chem)
Last year I had 1 AP class, WHAP and 2 Honors courses, English Honors and Algebra 2/Trig Honors.</p>
<p>I also am volunteering at the Hospital (I only have 30 hours so far)</p>
<p>Oh and I am going to apply as a Graphic Communications major and would like to double major in Journalism but I know how hard it is to double major at Cal Poly.</p>
<p>cal poly will not look at your extracurricular hours, other than one question, which is something along the lines of how many hours a week. it will also ask a question about how many hours of work experience and whether it was related to your major. i encourage you to look at the application if you are really interested. bottom line, it won’t matter much since you will most likely put the highest option.</p>
<p>your gpa is great, you have an excellent chance. the major you are applying to is an easier one to get into at cal poly because of the college it’s in. just get a good sat score! good luck.</p>
