Why do you not include writing? You also didn’t include whether you took the most rigorous class load. When it comes to much of these schools, 90+% of students come from top 10% of their class. Here is a quote from Cornell:

“There are also more Cornell freshmen with high SAT scores – 73.4 percent of incoming students scored 650 or higher (out of 800) on the critical reading portion of the test, up from 69.3 percent in 2011; and 84.9 percent scored 650 or higher on the math portion, compared with 83.6 percent of freshmen last year.”

From the little information you give me, you barely reach those standards.

I’m not going to say anymore until I get more information.

You need to find safties however.

Can anybody else give me opinions???

Well, your SAT scores match the 80-some percent of freshmen entering the class. Your EC’s seem alright. Depending on where your high school is, more might be expected of you in grades/tests.

Since you’re on the brink, work on those essays!

Thanks! My recs are really good and my essays are definitely creative at least I feel so…I have to do well on my subject tests coming up soon and my high school is the best high school in the state…I hope that is a determining factor…

And my senior schedule is Ap physics b, ap Econ, ap gov, calc honors, English 4 honors, photo 1 (had to take an art), and an internship class and so far this year I have all A’s and a B+ in physics
