My chances

Hey, I'd love to go to a small liberal arts college and applied to several. I know my stats aren't great but I decided to apply to some very selective colleges and some somewhat selective colleges. So can anyone tell me what my chances of getting into the following are: Wesleyan, Oberlin, Sarah Lawrence, Marlboro, Eugene Lang, and Austin College. I also applied to UT Austin because I heard they had a great Liberal Arts program. So could anyone give me an idea as to what my chances are. Here are my stats:

Internships and Work Experience

I worked at my dads law office for three summers in a row as a clerk and receptionist.
I also worked as a clerk at my mom’s office sophomore year.
I did an internship coordinated with my school as a teacher’s aide in two separate schools in my junior and senior years (in both I worked closely with special needs students in a bilingual classroom.)
Another internship coordinated with my school was as a docent at a local museum in my 12th grade year.

Any help is seriously appreciated.

You look like a good candidate for Oberlin.

If you mean Wesleyan in CT, your GPA and SATs are a bit light (median M+V at Wesleyan is 1400). Academically, it's a reach, though your ECs - which are impressive - and your URM status may help you there. Still, it's a reach. Oberlin is easily a match. Sarah Lawrence and Eugene Lang should be no problem. Austin and Marlboro I'm not familiar with. UT Austin is a very good state school, and my guess is you'll be accepted there also.

800 verbal 560 math?? How did you manage to pull that one off?

You'll probably get into Marlboro, just don't screw up on the interview or your essays.

I think you have to chance to get into all of them. What is your unweighted GPA?

A verbal 800 and 560 math isn't that unusual, The.End. I got an 800 on the Literature SAT II, but a 630 on the Math IIC. I read better than I calculate. Yay for us, Margil580! We're unique!

Anyway, I think your stats look pretty good. Your ECs certainly kick my ECs' tushes. It'll be an interesting April, at any rate. Good luck!
