I'm applying to UCI this fall and I'd like to know if i have any chance at getting in.

My SAT score is a 1930 but i'm taking it again. My desired major is CompSci.
I've taken 4 AP's (Biology, APUSH, Physics and Literature), am an officer of 2 STEM-related clubs Robotics and Girls In Stem), I've played JV badminton for 2 years. I've done 43 hours of service but I'd like to do more. I'll probably graduate with around 60. My unweighted GPA is a 3.58

Can I get into any of the other UC's as well? UCLA, Berkeley, San Diego, Davis? I'm only applying to these 5.

Almost zero chance for every UC on your list. Your 3.58 unweighted GPA is too low and computer science is impacted.

My stats and results:
3.66 unweighted, 4.29 weighted, 4.00 capped UC GPA. 2300 SAT score. Rejected by UCB, UCLA, UCSD, and CPSLO. Waitlisted by UCD and UCI.
I believe that these schools rejected/waitlisted me because my GPA was crap compared to the stats of other students who were applying to computer science (my intended major).

I think your chances are pretty good for UCI. UCLA and Berkeley, not so much. I’m currently going to UCI and was originally a comp sci major. My stats were lower than yours. Most people I know here had stats similar to mine but tried really hard on their essay. I think that’s one of the biggest things they look at.

If you are interested in my full stats that I posted last year when I applied, you can find them here:

I am not sure how you calculated your weighted GPA as 3.76, so I will assume that you made a typo and 3.76 is your unweighted GPA. With that said, your stats are in no way lower than OP’s. The UCs value GPA a lot more than test scores. Your GPA is higher than my GPA, so am willing to say that your stats are better than mine for applying to the UCs. I would sacrifice my 2300 SAT score for your stats.

UCLA/UCB: Reach
UCSD: Low Reach
UCI/UCD: High Match
I hope you have at least 1 safety on your list. You do not want to get shutout since UC’s can be unpredictable and more competitive each year.

Ok thank you! Would it make a difference if I am graduating with precalculus as a senior? I know that makes a HUGE difference, but I think that’s my biggest worry for my transcript. I was stuck in a different country in the 8th grade for about 2 months so they made me retake Alg. 1, even though I had a good grade.

No, 3.58 is my unweighted. My weighted is about a 3.7 or a 3.8

Sorry for the misunderstanding. In post #3, I was replying to OneDeaged, not to you.
