<p>I am a tennis recruit. I have been in contact with the tennis head coach at UChicago. He is willing to support my application. He decided to support me last second, which is why I haven't received a likely letter. What do you guys think my chances are considering my standardized test scores are pretty low? Also, how much pull does Chicago have for athletes? Please let me know. </p>

<p>Considering it is a D3 school, not sure how much emphasis is given to recruitment/athletes. The coach supporting might help, but with UChi its a lot more about essays imo, which no one can judge solely based on this chance post</p>

<p>Did you apply EA? I think you’ve got a good shot. You certainly have the grades. It would be important in your essays to be able to express how you fit at UChicago. </p>
