my chances?

hello, Im an Iranian student and graduated from high school in Spain. I have applied to Ole Miss but Im not sure if they will accept me. my GPA is a bit low due to my lack of Spanish (I came to Spain in 2011 and didnt know any Spanish) but I was able to pass all my subjects with 5s or 6s out of 10! my GPA is somewhere around 2.6. I have done humanitary service (raised funds for african kids to get an education) and have worked in a couple of places! do you guys think that I have a fighting chance and please give me any tips on how to raise my chances, thank you!

Call and talk to admissions.

I did, but they wouldnt say how much of a chance i have, they just said: send the things we ask and then we will decide! Do you study at Ole Miss?

@axel123 - Maybe this will help with information regarding admissions. http://catalog.olemiss.edu/admission/international-students

Thank you, but im looking for a more personal type of answer

@Axel123 You have such an unusual fact situation that you may not get a very good reply. It’s not that people are trying to be unhelpful. It’s just that it’s beyond their knowledge. Have you taken the ACT or SAT? I think they tend to have a lot of weight in situations like this when it is difficult to interpret foreign grades.
