3.8-3.9 GPA (difficult to completely determine)

AP/Honors classes: Honors Spanish 4, Honors Economics, AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics, AP Physics, Honors Pre-Calculus

SAT: Unavailable so far but estimated in the mid 1300’s right now(hoping to bring it up to the 1400’s)
SAT 2: Will be planning on taking only Math 1 and Chemistry(only received a B+ in biology and won’t be taking pre-calculus until senior year to prepare for Math 2)

Honors: National Foreign Language Honor Society, National Honor Society, FBLA Member of the Month in October

Extra-curriculars:

  • Future Business Leaders of America (will likely be in a leadership position next year)
  • an organization that sets up high school students to be mentors for elementary aged children

Other:

  • 11th grade right now
  • White
  • Male
  • going to be part of an internship this summer for business and finance(taking lots of career related courses)
  • semi-private high school
  • wish to major in Business Administration

  • Harvard University
  • University of Pennsylvania

  • New York University (semi-reach?)

NYU is a match, except Stern.

Would you consider this due to their high SAT scores on average or otherwise?

NYU’s acceptance rate in Stern is 14%, and is ranked as one of the top business schools in America. I wouldn’t call it a semi reach because of its prestige.
