if im missing anythingg… just ask…

looks good to me, you look like a very well rounded individual. Get some stand out recs and creative essays to maximize your chances, but just remember with a school like Penn, nothing is a guarentee.

i'd say everything looks awesome, except maybe the uw gpa. is your school really competitive or has a harsh grading scale?

it was my freshman year... i never concenrated in class and mever studied for quizes so instead of getting low 90's like i did in middle school, i got low 80's, bringing down my average to a B, instead of an A, lik in middle school... i also found out that i had ADD+, so i learned how to coop w/ it summer to soph...

anyone??? 10 char...

i think you have a really good shot. :-) (coming from someone with def undiagnosed ADD. i feel your pain that you felt.)

Hate to rain on your parade, but despite your excellent SAT scores, your chance of getting into Penn if you're not in the top 5% of your class is extremely small. Remember, nearly everybody who applies to Penn has SATs as good or better than yours, and many, many have better GPAs. Should you apply to Penn? Sure. There is a slight chance you'll get in, but make sure you apply to a bunch of matches and safeties also.

I think that if you can explain the drop in your SAT, you can get into Penn. I'm working with your assumption that your low GPA is due solely to your ADD.

pro.gatsby, im confused... how is there a drop in my SAT??? i only took them once beginning of junior yearr...

sorry, I meant GPA :)

Your stats are fine, everyone is going to have around the same GPA as you and everyone is going to have around the same SAT scores as you. Therefore neither of them will really matter in the end. What will matter is the rest of your application. Write good essays, get good recommendations, and show Penn that you are an interesting person (not just someone who obsesses over whether or not their GPA is a 3.6 or a 3.7). Applying ED wouldn't hurt either.

wat should my essay topic b abt??? any suggestions???

that is something you have to decide. they want you not me.

sry i didnt want it to sound lik that... what im trying to ask is would colleges perfer to recieve a creative writing piece that explains a moral, a creative story, or just literally an autobiography??? lik would they want something unique or would they think that the person is wack...

I noticed that you took Calc BC as a sophomore...if you want to especially impress Penn, it might be a good idea to look into taking Multivariable Calc at a local community college during the year. It would show an enthusiasm for learning, and give a solid reason for your desire to be advanced in math.

Don't play up the ADD thing too much. Stress your accomplishments, not your weaknesses. You have plenty of great things to boast about.
