What are my chances as a Canadian/International student applying for engineering at Stanford, Caltech, MIT, UCLA, and Berkeley?

Also I was wondering: if I'm attending an American International School in Qatar, but I'm a Canadian citizen, how do the colleges see me- as a Canadian or overseas student?

I think if you use your break dancing, as a hook, meaning you do something like teach a class, start a club, win competitions, etc you should be able to get into stanford. however your ec's are lacking.

I would substitute UCLA with Cornell and University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. UCLA is a fine school, but it is not great in Engineering. Cornell and Michigan are amazing in Engineering.

CalTech, MIT and Stanford would be reaches.
Cal, Cornell and Michigan would be virtual guarantees.

As for how will American schools see you, Canadian or Qatari, what difference does it make? You are international! But, for what it's worth, you will be seen as an applicant from Qatar.
