What are my chances to BBA preferred admit?

ACT and GPA are too low.

excel:
calculate your GPA for 10and 11th unweighted for acadmeics classes only. A-, A or A+ is all A. Similarly B-,B and B+ is B for Michigan. They also look at rigor of curriculum and trend in your grades year over year. Try taking ACT again to raise it. U of M OOS is as difficult as other top schools.

My michigan gpa would be a 3.65 and I have taken the toughest courses (IB)

Honestly you may have difficulty getting into LSA. If you raise your ACT and get accepted to LSA and do reasonably well your first year you can take the normal route to the B-school.

i agree with samwise.

"What are my chances to BBA preferred admit?"

sorry if I sound harsh...but a preferred admit spot is going to be a reach for you...your act score is holding you back...preadmit spots are hard to come by...unless your ec's are spectacular (ex. starting a new company, part time manager position for a current company, etc.)...i'd say that you're going to have an uphill battle for a preadmit spot...

Yeah, unless you have a great amount of experience in the business field or something that makes really stand out, preferred admit is pretty much out of question (sorry to sound harsh, too). LSA might even be a reach for you. Try to improve your ACT score and apply early, is my advice, and if you get in, just take the normal route to the bschool

Isnt the ACT range a 26-30?

But from out of state, it's much harder than average.

what's the stats for oos?

ACT range is 27-31. I don't think that they publish separate stats for OOS but it's significantly harder. Out of my graduating class of 1113 coming out of a public Illinois H.S., 15 of us are going to UM, and the lowest of our ACTs is 29, the highest being 35.

Yeah, all my OOS friends at uofm had at least a 30. Average being around 32.
