My Chances?

Hey, im a naturalized citizen of the US (i was born in Ukraine if that helps any) and im a senior at my highschool (class B Battle Creek Harper Creek) and i was wondering what my chances of getting into LSA were.

Credits: 24
Cumulative GPA: 3.4166
Rank 44/205
ACT(with Writing): 26/27
that was as of the end of my junior year, i also go to the Battle Creek Area Math and Science center for my math, science and tech courses which are advanced (since 9th grade) and thats one of the main reasons for my lower GPA. They do credits odd there so ill type them out.

AP Computer science 1/2 (B-/A-) .50/.50 (No one took exam)
Pre-Calc (C+) .50
Calc (B-) .50
Advanced Physics (C-) .50
UNIX (A-) .50

I am also in National Honors Society (for now), compete on a robotics team, was on a Youth Orchestra, did science olympiad, and work on the video news for our school.

I think the only reason i wouldnt have a chance is because of my lower grades at the BCMSC, but then UofM might put consideration on me because i go there. (website is bcmsc.k12.mi.us if any1 wants to look at it) Only 5-10 people from my senior class go there.

I plan to send out my application after thanksgiving because my counselor has been out of town and she said she will send it out then. My letter of recommendation is from my physics/Anat-Phys teacher who is a doctor too. Has anyone sent out 2? i know some people that said they are sending 2...

I plan to go to LSA for 2 years then go into the Arch program at Taubman. If i dont make it into UofM, i plan to go to Central Michigan for 2 years then transfer into Taub. since i heard its easier.

Edit:
Current classes:
Advanced Chem, Senior Calc , Engineering, Anatomy and Physiology I <- At BCMSC
Harper : Advanced Lit, Amer. Govt

Next Semester:
Bcmsc: Senior Calc B, 2block internship with an architect in my town, either analytical chem or A&P 2
Harper, Digital Video or Independent Study working on video news, Independent Study for Arch. II

Your chances aren't good, especially given your two Cs in Pre-Calc and Physics your Junior year. Your ACT is slightly low. I'd say Michigan is a reach for you.

yeah reach, your GPA is on the way low side.

maybe if you increase that ACT you will have a shot. otherwise I say reach.

your chances have also gone down exponentially if you haven't applied yet.

What about mine
UMich GPA scale: 3.7
ACT-31
Rank 46/356

UnknownStuff:

My friend with those exacts stats got deferred, but it's a match. My stats are similar too and I was also deferred, but don't let that get you down, it's still a match regardless.

i was thinking about retaking the ACT, but i think the next test date is in december? and i was wondering if there would be problems with that since i plan to send my app ASAP. I was talking to a friend and he said they file away your app but put the date it came in on it and base it on that?? Also, what score do you think would make my chances go up? I think that i could get around 30ish, only reason i got one that low was because it was right after exams and i was really sick.
