what are my chances. im a junior at chapel hill high which is a top 10 school in the state (NC) w/ a 7 point grading scale

gpa weighted 3.75
unweighted 3.5
MY gpa will go up after this semester i currently have a 4.0
havnt taken the SAT but i am strong in math and will probably recieve a score areound 1150-1200

-also have a part time job

what are my chances?

Need more details, are you in any clubs? sports? Whats your planned major? AP classes?

im not in any clubs this year but will join one next year

-im taking AP env. science this year
-next year AP statistics
-also next year Hon Eng, Bio 2, conversation Spanish

-want to major in business/management
-could have played basketball but didn't
-illinois weslyian univ wanted me to play for them

It really can go either way... More clubs would look better, and simply joining is not impressive; you must join a couple and focus on them to make a difference. Also, do the optional sections on the application and bring your gpa up if possible. Shoot for at least a 1200 (630+ on math). It still can go either way. I know people with lower stats than you that were accepted but i also know people with much better stats than you that were rejected

best luck

I went to CHHS and got into NCSU with a better weighted GPA, better SAT, and worse unweighted GPA than you did. Be sure to apply early. I think you will have better chances.

I would say you have a good chance at NCSU School of Management. It is not safe though.
