My Chances?

Hi, I just want to know what my chances are for being accepted to the following: Georgetown, Duke, UCLA. UCLA is my target school, but I just want to know what my chances are for the other two. Thanks a lot.

Academic Stats:

GPA: 3.9 (unweighted), 5.0 (weighted)
This year's course load: IB Theory of Knowledge, IB Spanish 4,
IB Math Studies 2, IB Contemporary History, IB English 4, IB Biology 2 HL
SAT: Math-670, Reading-630, Writing-750
Top 5% of the Class

EC's/Volunteer:

Tennis
Chinese School (to learn Mandarin)
Hospital Volunteer

Leadership/Clubs:

Science National Honor Society (President)
National Spanish Honor Society
National Honor Society
Badminton Club (President, might turn the club into a tutoring program)
Red Cross Club (Vice-President)
LEO Club

Thanks again. Please leave a post if you have any questions or advice.

I'm a senior btw.

your ECS are alright, not that amazing
your SAT scores are mediocre.

UCLA is a reach esp. if youre out of state

Duke/Georgetown: High reaches

push up tha SAT score. and where the heck are your SAT IIS?

You had good classes (Diploma candidate?), good GPA and rank. Your EC's are very....okay just not amazing. And your SAT's won't sell much.

Your chances at your schools are not the best in the world. Find a passion and stick with it. Take your SAT/SAT II and do well! Good luck.

UCLA is not a reach if the poster is in state.

UCLA: Match (in state)
Duke: Slight Reach-Reach (SAT a bit low for Duke)
Georgetown: Match-Slight Reach

Would I have a better chance with my SAT's or with a 29 on the ACT? My guidance counselor told me that most people do not take SAT II's, so she did not recommend it.

Thanks.

sat II's are required for ucla...atleast two in two different subjects

If you're in-state, UCLA is a match. If out-of-state, then it's a reach.
