really you went to london? where do you live?

amsterdam

oh guess what!!!!!!!
i got my psats wrong im so mad
i got 175 its the 92% so im turning that score in to the schoolssssssss im so proud
i think that will hlep me

o really? that's great! that's actually incredible to get a 92 on your psats. congrats. hope you get into those schools

thanks all the schools dont have neone from the netherlands
so its a plus
also im merican
so that helps even more

swimming and tennis are my strength so yaaaaaa

Your PSAT scores are great, but they are a little below average for top boarding schools. A 92% on the PSAT is not the same as a 92% on the SSAT. Only kids applying to private high schools take the SSAT, which is generally a stronger pool than people who are taking the PSAT. The average SAT score at most top boarding schools is around 1900-2100, but I think a 1750 might be in their range.

If I were you I would just send in your SSAT, which is great for Kent and Loomis, but slightly below average for Andover, but they accept a lot of applications with way lower scores.

do u guys think i have a shot at loomis tho?

also since im in tenth grade it should be around there

in other words im rahter happy with it

Yeah, you have a pretty good chance.

you are right tho about how the 92 on psat is different than ssat
psat has more difficult math and vocab and reading but, no analogies!
if i took the psat now and got 1750=175 on psat
so ya uhhh its so stressful

bumpity bump

i go to KENT school and it is just great i love it! i definitely reccomend it! im not sure u will be able to get in though... did ur interview go well here because they definitely look for personality here!

i am also in tenth grade...this is my first year

What do you think of Kent, rocktheboat? You should make a thread about it!

our old women's life studies (aka sex/ anorexia education) teacher went to kent. she was really cool and said she liked it a lot there.

kent has rly low stats tho

thats why its kind of confusing

rocktheboat what were ur stats

capriatifan,
I think you are clearly accepted at kent and loomis, and andover is about a 50-50 chance. I've had students get into kent and loomis which lower stats that you, who don't even have the international experience that you do. Just be clear that you are a US citizen, as someone else mentioned. good luck

newyorker22
what will help or hurt me with andover?
in ur opionion

bump!!!!!!!!!!!!

bumping againnnnnnnnnnnnn
for newyork
