OOS

how do you have a gpa that is out of eight?

and your classes suck. even for a lower tier uc four honors and three aps is seriously lacking.

even for instate i wouldn't put money on getting in.

anyone else?

btw w/o my freshmen gpa it's 3.55/4

It's going to be a reach.

I got in OOS this year, and I'll let you know my stats... They are not significantly higher than yours, but I've done a ton of varsity athletics, and have participated in ASB/student government, hundreds of community service hours, extra classes outside of school, etc..

Anyway, I had a 3.9 UC weighted GPA (excluding freshmen year grades, which I wrote about since they were pretty bad), and my ACT score was a 29.

As for the SAT subject tests, I'd recommend doing really well on them.
I scored a 750 on the Math 2 and since I hadn't taken AP Bio or anything, I read a biology textbook over the summer and scored a 640. Try to raise your ACT score or get really high SAT II scores.

does it matter which subjet tests I take?

The UC's don't accept Math 1. Other than that take what you want.

i thought that was a weird change (eliminating Math 1/1C exams), since the curve is so skewed that something like the top 7% of all 2/2C test-takers get an 800.

i got an 800 on the 2C on my first shot, but took 1C two or three times -- never made it above 770. odd.
