Interview: Pretty good I think.

I don't know if I have a realistic chance of getting in. My extracurriculars, besides sports, are basically nonexistent. I don't know how much weight a 36 ACT score carries (I'm hoping a lot, but I'm guessing not much more than a 32). I go to a small school with lots of good students (school usually declines to rank students) and I'll probably be valedictorian by the end of the year. I've taken every AP course my school offers except Spanish (I took 3 years of German) and US History (only offered during the same period as Calc AB my junior year).

Do I have a shot with no non-sports extracurriculars? Thanks for all responses in advance.

Your chances are pretty good coming from Wisconsin.

The two things that will hurt you are:
-small class size
-no extracurriculars/awards truly geared towards the subject you are interested.

Coming from Wisconsin though, you have a better chance than most.

(whoops double posted)

Quote admissions: "Our process is a student-centered process, not a school- or region-centered process. This means that we do not read your application along with other students from your school or region to compare you against each other; each applicant stands on their own. We have no quotas by school, state, or region. You are not at any disadvantage if other excellent students from your school or area are also applying."

Also, being from a small class won't have any effect, positive or negative. I mean, obviously it changes your rank, your high school experience, etc, but it's not going to help or hurt you, it just IS. Did that make sense?
